
A 44-year-old woman, identified as Adélia Pereira Rodrigues, was found dead, with a rope tied around her neck, Thursday morning (25/12), in Poté, Vale do Mucuri (MG).
According to the Minas Gerais Military Police (PMMG), a man with whom Adelia had been in a relationship for about three months is the main suspect in her murder.

She was found near a gate, located near the residence where the man lived. Since the discovery of the body, the victim’s companion has not been seen again and the civil police consider him a fugitive.
According to the expertise of the Legal Medical Institute (IML), Adelia died of asphyxiation by the rope found around her neck. The case is under investigation by the civil police.
