The balls approved their punishment today, Friday, in Washington, DC, where the groups for the first stage of the 2026 World Cup tournament, which will be held in the United States, Mexico and Canada, were determined.

The draw left a relatively balanced schedule, without a “group of death,” despite high-level confrontations, as never before, in the case of the Latin American and Spanish teams.
