From TV shows to news headlines to the increasingly blurred lines between reality and artificial intelligence, the year has shown that there is always room for humor. In the midst of so much happening, the creativity (and, in some cases, complete lack of ideas) of others was enough raw material to turn virtually any topic into a joke on social media.

Gracyanne Barbosa may not have been the most strategic actress on “BBB 25,” but she was certainly the one who aroused the most curiosity. The reason? The anticipation around how the fitness muse would handle confinement without her famous 40 eggs a day diet. She adapted and the program itself joined in the fun, mocking her lavish meals at VIP.

The reinterpretation of Vale Tudo was right in transforming Maria de Fátima (Bella Campos) into a digital influencer. Each of the character’s twisted pieces of advice became an instant meme. Odète Roitman (Débora Bloch) did not escape it either: her increasingly large banana took on a life of its own on the internet. And, as if that wasn’t enough, the size of Humberto Carrão’s head was one of the viral jokes.
Oscar on the networks: declared rivals
With Brazil in the running, the Oscars broke records for online engagement. The argument between I’m Still Here and Emilia Pérez was fought with pointed memes, which explored all the weaknesses of the competitor. The defeat of Fernanda Torres has also become a subject of joke, at least we are already “in training” to defend Wagner Moura and The Secret Agent next year.
