Look carefully if you enter Google because Mountain View added a new button in its search engine that you can ignore. It is true that the design hardly changes, but this change changes the way certain searches can be performedin addition to being linked to the functions of artificial intelligence of the company.
This is how the “+” button works in Google Search
In the Google search box, where the magnifying glass icon previously appeared, you can now see a button with a “+” symbol. When you tap or click on it, a small menu opens with two options: “Upload an image” And “Download file”. These two options allow you to select an image or document from your mobile phone or computer.
When choosing the file, you can enter a question in the search engine, like “What do you see in this picture?”, or “What does this document say? At this point, Google analyzes the file and uses this information to answer the query.
Basically what happens with this new button is that when you use it, andWe inadvertently activate Google’s AI mode. In other words, the answer is not based on the traditional list of links, but on a summary generated with artificial intelligence from different sources.
Basically, It performs the same function as AI modealthough Google explained that it would be independent of traditional search, it is now integrated with normal search. This implies that Google wants us to use its artificial intelligence to perform searches by default, thus placing it outside of AI mode.
