The actress and singer Zezé Motta, 81, will return to the Globo soap operas in “A Nobreza do Amor”, the next of the channel’s six storylines.
She will play the role of Dona Menina, midwife and healer from Barro Preto, a fictional town in the interior of Rio Grande do Norte, where part of the story takes place. Zezé’s last soap opera on Globo was a special appearance in 2023’s “Fuzuê”.
Duda Santos will play the African princess Alika, protagonist of the series, which takes place in the 1920s and is written by Duca Rachid, Júlio Fischer and Elísio Lopes Jr..
She flees to Brazil after the kingdom of Batanga falls into the hands of the tyrant Jendal, a villain who will be played by Lázaro Ramos.
In the countryside, Alika will fall in love with the worker Tonho, played by Ronald Sotto. Also confirmed in the cast are Érika Januza, Lázaro Ramos, Nicolas Prattes, Fabiana Karla, Emanuelle Araújo, Levi Asaf, Rodrigo Simas and Rita Batista.
The artistic direction is by Gustavo Fernández.
