Although there is no conclusive evidence, the neighbor accused those around the footballers of attacking him. In particular, he targeted Mancuso, whom he accused of biting his nose during the altercation. According to the Brazilian newspaper D., the incident is currently being investigated by the Eusébio civil police stationiario do Nordeste and O Globo.
Hours after the incident and the dissemination of the images, Mancuso gave his version in his report. Instagram. According to him, a man entered his house angry and shouted, insulted and threatened with the aim of causing trouble, which led to the police having to be called.
“During New Year’s Eve, while at home with my family and friends, I was surprised by insults from a man who had clearly lost his mind, both consciously and physically,” he wrote.
And he said: “He wanted to cause confusion all night long. The insults were directed at my honor and my work, and he also tried to belittle the people who accompanied me. Although we tried to ignore him, he persisted. He came to my house with another person, broke down one of the doors and threatened everyone. We tried to get them out, but they resorted to physical violence against a guest and we had to call the police to control the situation.”
At the end of the event, the football player stated that he and his family and friends were fine and stated that he would report the matter to the police.
