The supplement said GfK-An NIQ Company —leading market research company, the world’s leading provider of data and analytics for the consumer goods industry— … This weekly sampling reflects the true “ranking” of the ten best-selling titles in Spain, in the areas of fiction, non-fiction and children and youth. The monitoring extrapolated weekly by GfK is the best audit available on the market and is prepared from sales recorded at more than 1,300 points. These 1,300 points of sale are grouped across three channels – bookstores, department stores and online sales – and are considered to cover 90% of the market.
Inside 1st place, “The Last Secret” (Planet). Dan Brown brings us a fast-paced plot set in Prague involving a brutal murder. Inside 2nd place, “Véra” (Planet). Juan del Val won the Planeta 2025 Prize with this novel, a love story in today’s Seville. 3rd place keeps him busy ‘The assistant’ (Sum of Letters). Freida McFadden remains unbeatable with this devastating psychological thriller, starring the Winchesters’ housekeeper. Inside 4th place, “When the wind speaks” (Planet), by Angela Banzas. This post-war family drama managed to be a finalist for the 2025 Planeta Prize.
Inside 5th place, ‘The Circle of Days’ (Janes Square). Ken Follet immerses us in the mystery of the construction of Stonehenge, a monumental project carried out in several phases during the Neolithic period. Inside 6th place, “The peninsula of empty houses” (Siruela), by David Ucles. This novel about the Spanish Civil War, in the tone of a certain magical realism, does not go out of the classification, served by a young writer, grandson of republicans.
He 7th place keeps him busy “Julius Caesar Series 03” (Ediciones B), by Santiago Posteguillo. After the success of “Roma soy yo” and “Maldita Roma”, here is the third part on the conquest of Gaul by Julius Caesar. Inside 8th place, “The Girl of the Lake” (Ediciones B), by Mikel Santiago.
