Today at noon, Matias Yofeof the Civic Coalition-ARI, appeared to testify at Pilar’s UFI 3 in the “NN case for robbery or theft”, a reason why Yofe’s house was searched last Friday, a fact that Elisa Carrio reported as “a mafia message“.
The leader, who arrived at the prosecutor’s office a few minutes after Yofe, stated: “Massa is desperate.”
In recent weeks, Yofe rose to public prominence because Yofe filed a series of complaints against the Argentine Football Association (AFA), whose defendants include the club’s president, Claudio “Chiqui” Tapia, and its treasurer, Pablo Toviggino. He had also filed complaints about “serious irregularities” related to VTV in Buenos Aires province.
As part of the lawsuit against Yofe, his house was searched last Friday. The man from Pilar is accused of serious extortion and is accused of being part of an alleged gang whose mission was to file lawsuits and then blackmail the defendants for money.
Yofe holds office in the Buenos Aires Parliament and is the complainant in the lavish Villa Rosa case linked to Toviggino. An official appraisal valued the property and its assets at more than $20 million, well above the stated purchase price.
