The surprises don’t stop in Chapecó. On Thursday evening (1st), Chapecoense announced the signing of midfielder Robert, 22. The player arrives at Verdão do Oeste on loan from Atlético-GO until the end of the 2026 season.
As well as the Goiás club, Alviverde’s reinforcement has spent time at Atlético-MG, Athletic and Portimonense in Portugal.
For Atlético-GO, the midfielder made 37 appearances last season, providing three assists and finding the net five times.
In his announcement, Robert commented on the opportunity to wear the alviverde coat in 2026.
“From the first contact with Chapecoense I was very happy, because it is a great Brazilian football team and we will have a season full of great matches. Playing competitions like the Copa do Brasil and Serie A brings a lot of motivation to any athlete. I hope to have a great year and that we can achieve the club’s goals”, celebrated the reinforcement.
Robert is the second name announced by Chapecoense on the first day of the year. In addition to him, earlier the club officially signed midfielder Higor Meritão.
