In 2025, the Ministry of Educational Development and Vocational Training distributed equipment to educational centers in Córdoba with a total value of more than 1.6 million euros. At the regional level, this figure exceeds 72 milliondo … which represents the largest annual investment in this concept in the last seven years. Since 2019, the value of furniture, technological equipment and other elements supplied to the centers for their operation amounts to 242 million euros.
Among the investments made in Andalusian centers in 2025, the 68.7 million euros allocated to technological equipment stand out, mainly for the acquisition, delivery and installation of portable devices and interactive digital classrooms within the framework of the Territorial Cooperation Program for the Digitization of the educational ecosystem #EcoDigEdu, which is funded by the European Union through the Next Generation EU funds and the Recovery and Resilience Mechanism (RRM).
Under this program, the Ministry has already completed the delivery of 91,233 laptops and tablets to 1,400 educational centers in Andalusia last February, and since April it has been distributing and installing digital panels and various accessories for the creation and provision of digital classrooms. Once distribution is complete, there will be more than 59,400 digital classrooms created or updated. Since 2019, investments in technological equipment for educational centers exceed 170 million euros.
Desks, chairs and cabinets
In terms of furniture, the investment made in 2025 was more than 2.2 million euros, and over the last seven years, desks, chairs, cabinets and other objects of this type have been distributed for an amount of 20 million euros. At the provincial level, the amount of this section in 2025 amounts to 104,865 euros, i.e. more than 1.2 million since 2019.
It is also worth noting the investment intended for the acquisition of equipment for students with special educational needs, such as technical aids (desks, computers and specific material) and specific lessons for support classes, with a regional investment of 700,796 euros in 2025 and more than 7 million euros since 2019.
Furthermore, in 2025, the Authority allocated more than 360,000 euros throughout the community for the acquisition and delivery of equipment for training cycles, and the investment in this concept since 2019 amounts to more than 35 million euros.
