Grok, an artificial intelligence chatbot from Elon Musk’s company xAI, reported Friday that gaps in protections had resulted in “images depicting minors wearing minimal clothing” on social media platform X and that improvements were being made to prevent this.

“There are isolated cases where users have requested and received AI images depicting minors wearing minimal clothing,” Grok said in an article on X. “xAI has safeguards in place, but improvements are underway to completely block these requests.”
“As noted, we have identified gaps in protections and are urgently addressing them: CSAM is illegal and prohibited,” Grok said, referring to child sexual abuse material.
