Backstage at the Copacabana Palace, one of the most famous hotels in Rio de Janeiro, Iza was once again the center of attention this Thursday (1/1). After being caught holding hands with actor João Vitor Silva in the early hours of New Year’s Eve, new reports indicate that the involvement between the two had already caught the attention of guests and employees days before it became public.
According to LeoDias, IZA and João Vitor had been residing on the sixth floor of the hotel since last Tuesday (30/1). In the corridors and common areas, the two men were seen moving together without much concern to conceal their proximity.

Behind-the-scenes reports indicate that the atmosphere between them was allegedly even more intense at the Black Pool, an exclusive pool facing the hotel’s VIP floor. Guests who were in the space claim to have witnessed “hot” kisses exchanged between the singer and actor.

The supposed new couple’s movement quickly became a topic among those at the Copacabana Palace throughout the week, gaining momentum after the turn of the year. Iza was one of the main attractions of New Year’s Eve at Copacabana and, leaving the stage in the early hours, she ended up standing alongside João Vitor Silva holding hands.
Despite the repercussions, neither João Vitor Silva nor Iza have publicly commented on the meeting.

At 29 years old, João Vitor has built a career that spans several generations. He became nationally known as a child when he played Pedrinho in the most recent version of Sítio do Picapau Amarelo.
In recent years he has starred in productions such as Chamas da Vida, Garota do Momento and Verdades Secretas. More recently, João joined the cast of the production O Agente Secreto, in which he plays the character of Haroldo. The film is one of the serious contenders for the 2026 Oscar for best international film.
