Mercadona announced changes to its usual hours for the first days of the new month of January, coinciding with the national holidays for which it has decided, in line with its philosophy of work-life balance, to modify its service in its more than 1,600 … supermarkets located in Spain.
After an end of the year with special openings on New Year’s Eve, until 7 p.m., and a complete closure last Thursday, January 1, for the national New Year holiday, Mercadona is introducing a new closing time from this Friday January 2 resuming its usual schedule of 9:00 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.

Finally, Mercadona will not open its supermarkets on Tuesday January 6.
