The fireworks marked the beginning of 2026 in Argentina and the world. In Buenos Aires, various parts of the city were illuminated with flashes of color that accompanied the midnight toasts. In cities such as Sydney, London, Paris and Rio de Janeiro, choreographed pyrotechnic shows over rivers and famous monuments were watched by millions of people live and via global broadcasts. With increasingly precise designs and effects synchronized with the music, fires once again symbolized the desire for a new beginning.
