Cinnamon
“Widely used in traditional Chinese, Indian, Persian and Unani medicine for a long time. It positively stimulates the immune response, reduces inflammation, acts positively in defense against the inflammatory response and, mainly, in the intestine,” said Marina.
Ginger
“It is a rich source of bioactive compounds, such as phenolic groups, alkaloids and steroids, which have medicinal effects. They are reported to have antiemetic, antipyretic, analgesic, antiarthritic and anti-inflammatory activities. Several studies have shown that ginger and its bioactive compounds have shown antiviral activity,” he pointed out.
Pepper
“It contains bioactive compounds, like an alkaloid, known to have many interesting pharmacological properties, such as anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, analgesic, antimicrobial, among others,” he commented.
