The case, which investigates a series of sexual assaults allegedly committed over several years and in which Nicolás Daniel Rodríguez and Daniela Silva Muñoz, both employees of the Senate of Buenos Aires, are accused, has added in the last hours a procedural novelty related to the detention situation. Rodríguez and Silva Muñoz, who worked in the field of provincial legislation and are currently housed in the DDI offices in La Plata.
According to judicial sources, the intervening judge followed a defense presentation calling for both defendants to be urgently transferred to a district mayor’s office.
While this administrative issue is resolved, the criminal investigation continues, with evidentiary operations underway and falling within the remit of the intervening public prosecutor’s office, in a case believed to have major institutional implications.
