Iconic Santalucía festival in Seville adds to its program the names of Romeo Santos and Prince Royce, who will perform together on June 25 at the Plaza de España in Seville, as part of their first joint tour in Europe, entitled “Better late than never”. “HE … “This is an unprecedented step for Latin music and, in particular, for bachata, bringing together on the same stage two of the most influential, successful and defining artists of the genre in the world,” underlines the organization in a press release.
The tour will cross Europe between June and August 2026, with stops in some of the continent’s main capitals. In Spain, the tour will visit cities such as Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia, Malaga and Sevillewith new European dates to be announced soon.
Considered the artist who transformed bachata into a global phenomenon, Romeo Santos is one of the “most influential” figures in contemporary Latin music. As the leader and principal composer of Aventura, “he played a key role in the internationalization of the genre in the early 21st century.” His solo career has cemented a storied legacy with multiple number one albums, international touring attendance records, billions of digital streams and landmark concerts at iconic stadiums and venues.
For his part, Prince Royce It represents “the bridge” between classic bachata and the contemporary global sound. Since its debut, it has been able to connect the genre with pop and current trends, achieving enormous success both in Latin and international markets.
His career is supported by multiple nominations at the Billboard Awards, Latin American Music Awards and Latin Grammy Awards, in addition to sold-out international tours and a strong presence on charts and digital platforms.
“Better Late Than Never” is not only a tour, but a historic meeting between two artists who have defined the past, present and future of bachata. The proposal will feature a “high-level” production, a staging designed specifically for this occasion and “exclusive moments that can only be experienced during this tour”.
