Security guarantees for Ukraine must be real, not bluff, says Lithuania

Any security guarantees offered to Ukraine as part of a deal to end the war with Russia must be real, Lithuanian Foreign Minister Kestutis Budrys said on Monday.

“We cannot bluff…Russia will not believe our bluffs. It must be real…Security guarantees must be very clear,” Budrys told a joint news conference in Vilnius with his German counterpart Johann Wadephul.
