The Mossos d’Esquadra have been in charge since Thursday an illegal rave party near the industrial area of Mataltes, in the municipality of La Sènia (Tarragona), in which around a thousand people participate and which started on New Year’s Eve and This should last through the weekend.
As reported by the Town Hall in a press release on social networks, work has been underway since Thursday morning on the control system, in collaboration with the local police. Mossos sources detailed this Friday what they are doing controls to prevent entry of more people to the premises.
They also carry out exit checks for alcohol and drugs and have detected the presence of vehicles registered abroad. Police said they have no plans to intervene inside as the situation is proceeding “without incident” and they anticipate the party will gradually wind down throughout the weekend.
