The company Aguas Bonaerenses SA (ABSA) reported that tomorrow, Friday January 2, work will be carried out related to the commissioning of the aqueduct with a diameter of 500 millimeters that will transport water from the “Donato Gerardi” water treatment plant to the Punta Lara cistern.
The work will be carried out on Almirante Brown Avenue and the entrance to the water treatment plant. They begin in the early hours of the morning and require a complete interruption of water supply throughout the city of Punta Lara from 6:00 a.m., expected for 30 hours.
The company urged users to reserve water in advance and prioritize its use for consumption and personal hygiene, and avoid non-essential tasks while the outage lasts.
Likewise, ABSA reported that an alternative relief operation using tankers is being maintained to meet the needs of residents who need them.
