Three people die in house fire in Madrid

Three people died in the early hours of this Friday due to a fire in their house on Moreno Street, in the Carabanchel neighborhood (Madrid), as reported by the emergency service. Two of the victims died from smoke inhalation and the third … due to burns.

The fire occurred on the third floor of a building on Moreno Street, in Carabanchel. The firefighters had many difficulties entering the house because of an armored door that they had to break down to gain access to the house; once inside, they found all three victims deceased.

They also had to rescue two neighbors who suffered a nervous breakdown because of the event. The fire was very virulent, the house collapsed due to the smoke, there was a high temperature, according to Juan José García, head of the Madrid fire department.
