What are the chances of winning at Mega da Virada?

Odds of winning vary depending on the number of numbers dialed. With the minimum bet, the probability of hitting six tens is one in more than 50 million, according to Caixa. With 20 numbers, the chance increases to one in 1,292.

Does Mega da Virada stack?

Unlike classic Mega-Sena contests, Mega da Virada does not accumulate. If no one guesses all six numbers correctly, the prize is distributed to those who guess correctly in the next series, and so on, ensuring that the entire amount is paid.

The prize amount is mainly made up of the collection of bets from the competition itself, in addition to the sums accumulated throughout the year in other Caixa draws.

How to collect the Mega da Virada prize?

The costs can be exchanged at Caixa agencies. Amounts starting at R$10,000 are paid within two business days of the winner being announced. It is necessary to present the winning ticket or proof of the bet, as well as photo identification and a CPF. Caixa recommends that the winner identify the ticket on the back before leaving home. The refund period is 90 days; After this period, the amount is transferred to Fies.
