The Vice President of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, said in the early hours of this Saturday that she did not know the whereabouts of President Nicolás Maduro and his wife Cilia Flores and called on both of them to “believe in life” after the US attack on the Caribbean country.
“Given this brutal situation and this brutal attack, we do not know where President Nicolás Maduro and First Lady Cilia Flores are,” Rodríguez said in a televised audio broadcast.
Minutes earlier, US President Donald Trump said his army had captured Maduro and his wife and driven them out of Venezuela after launching a “large-scale attack” against the Caribbean nation.
