A woman was scared after almost hitting an alligator that was outside a lagoon, at Parque das Águas, in Cuiabá, Mato Grosso. The animal was spotted on Thursday (1/1) by people passing by the tourist spot.

The video, filmed by influencer Lorrany Cristofolli, generated repercussions online due to the negligence of the woman, who walked very close to the animal, but did not notice its presence.
Upon noticing the alligator approaching the woman, the visitors shouted to alert it. She was surprised and quickly moved away from the animal.
The scene also aroused the curiosity of Internet users due to the unusual presence of an alligator in the grass, which, according to the influencer, looked like a fake, or even a sculpture.
The influencer also detailed that the alligator was named Celso and that going out on the trail and sunbathing was part of the animal’s daily routine. This time the appearance was shocking, given that many visitors were walking around the park and even gathering near the alligator to admire it.
