A woman in her sixties died after being knocked down this Wednesday, December 31 in the Vicari Camarena Streetin the Las Ventas district, in the Valencian municipality of Pobla de Vallbona, according to town hall sources.
The neighbor was hit by the driver of a vehicle that, according to the same sources, he was subjected to alcohol and drug tests during which he gave negative. Although she was taken to hospital after the accident, the woman died.
The main hypothesis considered is that the driver suffered a shock the glare produced by the sun.
From the Pobla de Vallbona Town Hall, they express “His sincere condolences to the victim’s family” and they associate themselves “with their pain at this difficult moment”, underline the same sources.
