The duel for the Supercopa Rei 2026 is defined. With the Copa do Brasil title, won this Sunday against Vasco, at the Maracanã, Corinthians will face Flamengo in the tournament which pits the champion of the knockout tournament against the champion of the Brasileirão 2025.
The 2026 Super Cup is scheduled to be played on January 24. The location is not yet defined. The Arena da Amazônia, in Manaus, the Estádio Mané Garrincha, in Brasilia and the Arena Fonte Nova, in Salvador, have applied to host the 2026 edition of the competition. The decision of choice rests with the CBF. The favorite to host the match is the Stade Mané Garrincha.
The Super Cup recently returned to the Brazilian football calendar. The tournament was first called Supercopa do Brasil and was renamed Supercopa Rei after Pelé’s death in December 2022. Current champions, Flamengo will defend the title. Corinthans, champion in 1991, will be looking for two.
