The Christmas peace does not come about The promise. Quite the opposite. The daily TVE series faces a crucial week as emotions boil over, secrets come to light and an unwanted wedding eventually becomes the epicenter of a tragedy that rocks the palace. Between broken pacts, forbidden kisses and a young woman at the limit of her strength, the episodes from December 22nd to 26th promise to captivate the viewer.
The start of the week begins with Martina making a decision that is more of a punishment than a relief: continues her relationship with Jacobo out of pure guilt. Hadrian, unaware of her inner torment, congratulates her without imagining how broken she is inside. Meanwhile, Ángela experiences one of the hardest moments when she tries on her wedding dress under the attentive and silent gaze of Curro and cannot hide her despair.
The episode also leaves room for conflict in the service area. Toño faces Enora after discovering her deception and admits that he no longer knows whether he can trust her again. Petra, for her part, alerts Teresa to her closeness to Cristóbal, but ultimately defends her to the rest of the staff. In addition, suspicions begin to take shape: could María Fernández be pregnant?
But the big blow comes from Lorenzo. After agreeing to call off the wedding in exchange for 25% of La Promesa, he backs out when he sees Curro’s happiness and break the deal violent. To top it all off, the detective hired by Leocadia arrives with disturbing news about Catalina.
