The rain will continue this Monday in a large part of the peninsula due to the continued presence of a cold air mass that will leave cloudy or cloudy skies and generally less rain than in previous days, in addition to minor snowfalls in the northern half, according to the forecast of the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet).
It will rain mainly on the Atlantic coasts and in the west of the peninsula, on the other hand, a front in the Mediterranean will leave rain on the Balearic Islands and on the north coast of Catalonia. On the northern coasts they can occasionally be strong. On the Canary Islands, cloudy periods with rain are expected in the north of the main islands, but occasional precipitation cannot be ruled out on the remaining islands.
In addition, light snowfall is expected in the main mountainous regions in the north of the country, although it cannot be ruled out that it will also occur in the surrounding areas, especially on the northern plateau, the east of the south and the northeast of the peninsula. There are active snowfall warnings in Asturias, Cantabria, Burgos, León, Segovia, Soria, Barcelona, Girona and Lérida.

Yellow warnings for snowfall remain active in Asturias, Cantabria, Castile and León and Catalonia.
As for temperatures, maximum temperatures will increase in the western half of the peninsula and decrease in the east, in the Balearic Islands and Melilla, while there will be little change in the Canary Islands. Minimum temperatures will fall in the east of the peninsula and the Balearic Islands, with frost in much of the interior and southeastern mountains, locally moderate in the northern plateau and severe in the mountains of the Pyrenees. In Teruel the thermometers drop to -5 °C and in provinces such as Huesca, Pamplona, Logroño, León, Guadalajara or Cuenca to -2 °C.
On the peninsula and the Balearic Islands, winds blow moderately from the west and northwest, with strong breaks and very strong gusts on the Cantabrian coasts.
