
The entertainment industry generated more than Half a million jobs in Cordoba last year, according to a study by the Institute for Contemporary Culture in collaboration with the consulting company Delfos.

The research promoted by the Welcome Córdoba Cluster of Events found that the so-called “Orange economy” generates about 760,000 jobs throughout the province of Córdoba.

The sample, which included 1,005 cases between November and December 2025, also found that for every peso spent on entry, between $1.32 and $1.60 additional dollars are generated for transportation, accommodation, dining and trade, the ICC detailed.
“The profile of workers in this sector is predominantly young (46% are between 18 and 29 years old), with a high level of education (55% have higher education), but with low social protection: only 48% have health insurance. Despite these difficulties, 83% of employees are satisfied with the work environment. More than half, 60%, are satisfied with the compensation“, says the report.
The median monthly income is $350,000, while the average is $913,248which reflects a heterogeneous income distribution, the study says.
