With two goals from Haaland and two goals from Sorloth, the team maintains its 100% qualification in the qualifiers and practically guarantees a place in the 2026 World Cup.
The passport is almost stamped. Norway defeated Estonia 4-1, Thursday (13), in the ninth round of Group Nine of the European qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup, and its qualification for the tournament was practically confirmed. Sorloth and Haaland, with two goals each, confirmed the home team’s victory in Oslo, while Sarma scored for the guests. All goals were scored in the second half.
In this way, Norway maintained its 100% success and became very close to qualifying for the World Cup. This is because the team leads Group A with 21 points in seven matches and has a positive score of 29 goals. In order for Italy, which is second in the group, to excel, the Italians must score 19 goals in two matches, including the direct confrontation between the two teams next Sunday (16).
Furthermore, Norway has the best attack in the European qualifiers with 33 goals, and Haaland is their top scorer with 14 goals.
Estonia, on the other hand, no longer had any chance of qualifying and only qualified in the final stage of the qualifiers.

The game
Norway dominated the match in the first half, but failed to score. Nosa and Oscar Popp troubled the Estonian defense with individual play and dribbling, but there was a lack of skill in crossing. Haaland received little attention. On the other hand, Estonia held out and took advantage of some of the Norwegians’ mistakes to pose a threat.
But the second stage had a different scenario. Norway took just 12 minutes to confirm victory with two goals from Sorloth and two more from Haaland. On the other hand, Estonia was able to benefit from 19-year-old Sarma.
