The extraordinary Christmas Lottery draw on December 22 distributed some 2.772 million euros to those who won one of its prizes. This year’s lottery issued 198 sets per number, a higher number than in previous years, so a greater number of prizes were put into circulation.
Among the most anticipated prizes are the Gordo, which distributed 400,000 euros for the tenth; the second, with 125,000 euros for the tenth; the third, with 50,000 euros; two fourth prizes of 20,000 euros each and eight fifth prizes of 6,000 euros.
In addition, 1,794 prizes of 100 euros per tenth were distributed with stones and so-called approximations, up to 2,000 euros per tenth, hundreds, completions and refunds.
Until when can we collect the tenth winners?
Once the draw is over, those who have one of the tenth winners have three months from the day of the draw to recover all of their winnings.
Depending on the amount awarded, they may do so at different times. Tickets awarded with amounts less than 2,000 euros can be collected from the Lottery Administrations and those who receive higher amounts must claim them from the authorized banking entities, in this case BBVA and CaixaBank.
