
One of the attractions of the Pro Tour STU Rio 2025, Canadian skater Cordano Russell said he is excited to be in Brazil and compete in front of the Brazilian fans. “I’m really happy to be here,” he said during the press conference held on Wednesday (12) in Rio de Janeiro.
After competing at the STU stage in Porto Alegre, the athlete made his debut on the tracks in Rio. “I’m looking forward to showing my skills and having a good time here,” he declared. “I was actually able to visit the Copacabana and took some pictures with Christ the Redeemer in the background. As for the energy, the Brazilian fans are some of the best and most involved. It’s unbelievable!”

Cordano Russell competes in the Men’s Street class and says he feels very light to show what he knows on the track. “Honestly, I never felt pressure. I just want to get on track to show what I know and my style, and of course I always want to win. That’s all I really want to do in my life, besides seeing the audience enjoying what we’re doing out there. It’s great to feel that energy on track,” he concluded.
Pro Tour STU Rio tickets are available now at Zig Tickets. On Thursday, the opening day, it is free. On Friday, entry is free until 3 pm. After this time, it will be necessary to make a purchase (each person will have the right to collect up to 2 tickets and/or purchase up to 4 tickets). On Saturday and Sunday, respectively, the day of the semi-finals and final, tickets will also be charged.
The age rating is 12 years and entry to the event will be upon handing in 1kg of non-perishable food, entitling you to a half solidarity ticket. Children up to 5 years old do not need to present a ticket.
