On a day that combined emotions, technology and community spirit, Argentine Falkland Islands celebrated the special edition of his big Christmas show. The municipal property was the epicenter of a large gathering where families from across the region came together to commemorate not only Christmas Eve, but the district’s three decades of history.
“Investing from the government side so that everyone can enjoy it equally is the spirit of creating equality and support.” emphasized the mayor Leo Nardiniwho was accompanied by the provincial deputy Luis Vivona and the secretaries Noe Correa and María Luján Salgado.
An unprecedented artistic and technological performance
The main show featured more than a hundred performers on stage, a Santa Claus flew over the crowd, and the musical ended Angela Torres. The big innovation this year, however, was this Drone show that lit up the Malvinas sky.
Authoritarians don’t like that
The practice of professional and critical journalism is a mainstay of democracy. That is why it bothers those who believe that they are the owners of the truth.
Through coordinated lights, the drones recreated iconic figures such as the Sagrada Familia, the Belgrano Norte train and the “Malvina’s 30 years” commemorative logo, so that the message was visible from every corner of the district.

Inclusion and local values
Nardini emphasized that this event is the result of a process that has been going on for 10 years: ““People are waiting for it because they know it’s a free and safe show.” In addition, he emphasized the social aspect of the organization:
-
Entrepreneur fair: Space for the development of the local economy.
-
“Zero-sound pyrotechnics” campaign: Designed for people with disabilities and caring for animals.
-
Territoriality: The proposals were spread across 35 public spaces, including Santa’s toy workshop and full-court theater performances.
National projection
The scale of the event went beyond the district’s borders. Those who couldn’t be there or want to relive the experience can see this Great Christmas show on Disney Channel from this Monday, December 22nd to December 31st.
“We celebrate these 30 years under the premise of believing again: in Christmas and in the values that unite us as Malvinians and as Argentines.”concluded the community leader.
