THE 080 Barcelona Fashion now has a new location in Barcelona. After more than a decade celebrating the iconic parade in the modernist neighborhood of Sant Pau moves to Port Vell. The spring edition will be held between April 14 and 17, 2026 in the areas of Port Vell and Marina Vela, as indicated in a press release this Monday.
The change of location is not a surprise. The director of the Consortium of Commerce, Crafts and Fashion of Catalonia, Moises Rodriguezalready announced during the presentation of the 36th edition, organized in October, that it would be the last to be held in the emblematic building of Barcelona in order to find a larger space and be able to expand.
The 080 opens a “new stage”
“This change of scenery gives the starting signal to a new step of the event, which strengthens the link between fashion and the city, with the sea as an axis of global connection”, they said. At the same time, they emphasized that “this broadens the horizons” and makes it “more open to the city”. Landing in this new location responds to the agreement between the Generalitat and Barcelona City Hallwho collaborated for the first time in the 36th edition with a contribution of 150,000 euros.
The new cycle of 080 Barcelona Fashion aligns with the Fashion Plan 2025-2030 promoted by the Government of Jaume Collboni. In addition, it is part of the Competitiveness, Growth and Innovation plan of the General Directorate of Commerce and the Consortium of Commerce, Crafts and Fashion (2024-2028), with the desire to integrate fashion into the cultural, creative and economic map of the city and position Barcelona as the capital of fashion.
