Mercè Ibarz (Saidí, 1954) is a writer, cultural critic, assagist and researcher. In this book, he recounts his arrival in Barcelona from the harsh agricultural region to enter university. The agent provocateur of the book is the death of L., the household with whom Mercè Ibarz will share everything he knows shortly after his arrival in the city. Of this biography, however, only segments arrive in the middle of the climate of the end of the dictatorship, of student politicization, of the feminist counterculture and the love of light, of the beginnings of press professionals in the turbulent times of change and the foundations of a solid literary vocation. Segons Ponç Puigdevall, a A girl in the cityThe true component of historical, political, social and professional circumstances is the infallible truth.
