Documents published last Friday (19/12) mention a “large Brazilian group” among the files concerning the case of billionaire Jeffrey Epstein, convicted of sex crimes in the United States and killed in 2019.
The quote appears among handwritten notes from an FBI interview conducted on May 2, 2019. Some content has been omitted. The person interviewed is not identified.
According to the British newspaper The Guardian, documents released by the US Department of Justice contain references to the grooming of girls and the billionaire’s specific preferences.
“Friends of friends (information omitted). Great Brazilian band,” says an excerpt.
Sometimes there are quotes from a person identified by the initials “JE” – who would be Epstein. The notes would reveal details about the businessman’s preferences over the women recruited.
“I didn’t want a Spaniard or a brunette,” say the manuscripts. Another excerpt mentions a “model” who “had just arrived from Brazil.”

Epstein Files
New documents from the investigation into the Epstein affair were revealed last Friday, under pressure from the US Congress. In more than a moment, Brazil is mentioned among the files.
One contains a message dated January 2005 asking Epstein to call a woman’s new phone number. The subject of the message is “Brazil”, but the field identifying the author of the request has been censored.
In another investigation document, there is a handwritten note indicating that a woman had been photographed without knowing the existence of the image. The person’s name was withheld, but the text states that she went to Brazil when she was 18 and returned to the United States two years later.
In total, more than 300,000 pages have been made public. Jeffrey Epstein, a billionaire who had close relationships with politicians, businessmen and celebrities, was convicted of sex crimes and accused of operating a child exploitation ring.
