
The city of Buenos Aires and its surroundings They are preparing for a Tuesday of high temperatures amid preparations for Christmas Eve and Christmas. The National Meteorological Service (SMN) has released the weather forecast for key days, with a mix of heat and some rain looming on the horizon.
According to the official forecast, both Christmas Eve and Christmas would generally take place without significant rainfall: there is only a warning of possible rain on the afternoon of the 24th, which would not affect the outdoor celebration.

In the north of the province there is a yellow alert due to extreme temperatures. This means that they can be particularly dangerous for high-risk groups such as boys and girls, people over 65 and people with chronic illnesses.
The warning affects the areas of Junín, Rojas, Salto, Pergamino, Baradero, Ramallo and San Pedro in the north of Buenos Aires. It will also affect the south of Santa Fe (San Lorenzo, Casilda, Rosario) and Entre Ríos (Victoria, Gualeguay).
According to the SMN On Wednesday, December 24, the sky will be partly cloudy for most of the day. Temperatures will be high: the minimum will be around 23 degrees and the maximum could reach 34 degrees. The wind will be light, with changing directions, and the chance of rain will be zero during the day.
However, towards the afternoon and evening – the key time of the celebrations – there is up to a 40% chance of rain or isolated showers. It is therefore recommended to follow the weather forecasts closely.
From Thursday December 25th, Christmas Day, the outlook will be more stable. A mostly cloudy day is expected in the morning, with partly cloudy conditions in the afternoon and evening, with no chance of precipitation. Temperatures will drop slightly with a minimum of 20 degrees and a maximum of 29while the wind blows with light intensity from the east and then from the northeast.
It will be hot for the rest of the week on Friday 26th, with temperatures reaching 33 degrees and mostly cloudy skies, with no rain expected, although with possible gusts in the afternoon. Instability returned on Saturday 27th, with showers in the morning and mostly cloudy skies for the rest of the day. On Sunday the 28th the week ends with some cloudy skies and temperatures rising again.
