The Santa Catarina Justice Court (TJSC) ordered the dismissal of Major Vieira’s vice mayor, Vilma Muller Kiem, from the post of Secretary of Health. The decision, published last Friday (12/19), reveals that Vilma used an ambulance and a municipal driver for a private trip with her sisters to Curitiba, capital of Paraná.
The affair is said to have occurred on September 13 this year. According to the court, Vilma committed an administrative error by using the service to attend a private consultation in Curitiba.
The decision, signed by Judge Mirella Lissa Yasutomi, further specifies that the benefit of out-of-home health treatment exists, but must be approved and carried out by the public network or affiliated with the Unified Health System (SUS).
