A 21-year-old man was arrested and formally charged with the murder of a 15-year-old teenager who was shot last September in the area of 141 and 45. The arrest was made in the past few hours and the case, which was classified as “unlawful injuries,” was reclassified as “aggravated murder due to the use of a firearm and illegal carrying of a firearm for conditional civilian use.”
The detainee is accused of fatally wounding a teenager on September 22 at the corner of 141st and 45th, as part of an alleged robbery attempt. That night, patrol command personnel responded to a call about a gunshot wound and found the minor lying in the street with two bullet wounds — one in the buttocks and one in the shoulder — and a .32-caliber long gun, magazine and sheaths lying on the ground.
After spending several weeks in intensive care at the Alejandro Korn Hospital in Melchor Romero due to a third spinal injury, the minor died on October 31. As a result, UFI No. 2 of the Judicial Chamber of La Plata, led by prosecutor Bettina Lucky, intervened in the case.
Finally, the young man appeared voluntarily at the Directorate of Defense and Security of La Plata with his lawyer, was officially detained and remained at the disposal of the Public Prosecutor’s Office for investigation.
the truth
It was around 11:30 pm. That Tiziano Benjamin Videla was shot three times, appears to be the person who was the target of this apparent attempt to dispossess him and who was identified in the proceedings.
Whoever carried out the bombings was traveling by bicycle. The deceased and, apparently, another person disappeared from the scene on a motorcycle.

Tiziano Videla, 15, the fatal victim
At that first moment, the victim was conscious, although he was unable to provide details of what had happened. He was rushed to Alejandro Corn Hospital, where he was diagnosed with a severe T2 spinal cord injury, leaving him paralyzed from the neck down. The medical report issued on his condition indicated that his health condition became more complicated until his death.
Judicial sources also confirmed that Tiziano Videla has a criminal record in La Plata, with several cases opened in different prosecutor’s offices on charges of theft, concealment and possession of firearms. In response to an inquiry from the newspaper, a senior judicial source said that the mechanisms of the incident are under analysis.
A controversial farewell at the cemetery
The young man’s final farewell was held in the La Plata cemetery, as part of a farewell party attended by friends and acquaintances.
After the burial, those present set fire to a motorcycle that belonged to Tiziano, disrupting the peace in that area, which is usually calm and silent out of respect for the deceased and the people who come to visit his remains.
