For the sixth consecutive year, Flamengo is in first place in the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) club rankings, published this Wednesday, Christmas Eve. Champion of the Brazilian Championship, the red and black team has 16,314 points.
Corinthians, winners of the Copa do Brasil last Sunday, moved from fourth place in 2025 to second place in 2026, with 14,930 points. The top 5 is also made up of Palmeiras (13,860), Atlético-MG (13,696) and São Paulo (13,556).
The CBF ranking takes into account, on the basis of the score established by the Points Convention, the club’s participation in organized competitions (Series A, B, C and D of the Brazilian Championship and Copa do Brasil) over the last five years.
Thanks to this, Vasco, finalist of the Copa do Brasil, and Cruzeiro, third in the Brasileirão and semi-finalist of the Copa do Brasil, jumped in the ranking. The Rio team moved up five places and is in the top 10, while the Minas Gerais team moved up 8 places to 11th. Mirassol is the one who gained the most positions in the top 30, with +9.
