“Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man”, a film that marks the end of the story that began in the series starring Cillian Murphy, had a teaser released by Netflix this Wednesday (24). The premiere of the film is scheduled for March 20, 2026, directly in the catalog of the streaming platform.
The plot returns to Birmingham in the 1940s, amid the chaos of World War II. After a period of self-imposed exile, Tommy Shelby returns to face the most violent reckoning of his career, with the future of his family and his country at stake.
In the preview, Murphy appears older, reprising the character’s iconic characterization. According to the official synopsis, Shelby will have to face her own demons and choose between preserving her legacy or destroying everything she has built.
Directed by Tom Harper and written by series creator Steven Knight, the film brings back names like Ned Dennehy, Packy Lee and Ian Peck. The cast also welcomes new additions, including Rebecca Ferguson, Tim Roth and Barry Keoghan.
Created by Steven Knight, “Peaky Blinders” debuted on the BBC in 2013 and became a global hit after arriving on Netflix. The film is an old wish of the screenwriter and should conclude the saga of the Shelby clan that began on television.
