After creating the Campo Bahia resort, which hosted the German team that marked the 2014 World Cup with a 7-1 defeat against Brazil, businessman Stefan Gast now runs another real estate project in the same location, in Santa Cruz Cabrália, a historic town in southern Bahia, on the Discovery Coast.
Named Yond, the project is prepared for the 2027 Women’s World Cup, which will take place in Brazil, and will host an international team. According to Gast, it is not yet possible to specify which delegation will be present, because it remains to be seen which teams will qualify for the championship.
With planned investments of R$1.8 billion to R$2 billion, BTG Pactual will be responsible for coordinating the constitution and structuring of the project’s real estate fund.
The architectural direction will be under the direction of Sandro Pretti, with whom Gast carried out the Campo Bahia project in 2014, while Inter+, of which the businessman is CEO, will be responsible for communication. The developer who will carry out the project is still being analyzed.
Work is expected to begin in the first quarter of 2026. The project location is close to major tourist destinations, such as Trancoso and Porto Seguro, and will be 30 minutes from Porto Seguro International Airport.
The real estate project will be constructed in four phases. In the first case, the residences will be launched for inauguration during the 2027 World Cup. The second stage will see the inauguration of the resort, a bilingual international school with boarding school, football academy and a medical-aesthetic complex, in 2029. In this phase the construction of a polo and horse riding center will also take place.
The third stage will see the expansion of the health and longevity center, new residences will be built, in addition to public spaces, for delivery in 2031. The final phase will include the completion of parks, housing for the elderly and cultural facilities, in 2032.
