Christmas gift for Atlético-MG fans. Left back Renan Lodi is Galo’s first reinforcement for next season. In a press release, the Minas Gerais team informed of the signing of the player who already has a date to arrive in Belo Horizonte. This Thursday (25/12), the black and white team informed that the player will arrive in the capital of Minas Gerais this Friday (26/12), at 7:00 a.m., to undergo medical examinations.
“Dear friends, good afternoon! Merry Christmas to all! Renan Lodi arrives in BiH this Friday (26), at 7 a.m., at Les Confins, to carry out medical examinations”, informed the Minas Gerais club in a press release.

Renan Lodi’s contract with Atlético-MG should last five years. The player has been without a club since August this year, when he decided to leave Al-Hilal for being excluded from the Saudi championship at the discretion of coach Simone Inzaghi.
At 27, Lodi arrives in the Minas Gerais team to compete for the position with Guilherme Arana. Next season will mark the player’s return to Brazil. The left-back left the country in 2019 while playing for Athletico-PR to defend Atlético Madrid. Renan Lodi also had stints at Olympique de Marseille before signing with Al-Hilal.
