Osasco São Cristóvão Saúde maintained its unbeaten record in the 2025/26 Women’s Volleyball Premier League by defeating Sancor Maringa 3 sets to 1 – splits 25-17, 25-19, 12-25, 25-22 – on Thursday evening (13/11), at Genacio Chico Neto, in Maringa (PR), for the fifth round of League. Round.

Osasco, with 14 points in 5 matches played, Gerdão Minas, also with 14, and Cesc RJ Flamengo, with 9 points in three matches, are the only two teams unbeaten so far in the competition. But coach Luizomar de Moura’s team lost the lead to Minas by an average point. See the full rating below.
After winning the first two sets easily, Osasco saw Maringa improve his ball rotation and close the gap, winning the third set 25-12.
The Paraná women also started the fourth set better and opened with a 5-1 lead. Osasco improved the defense’s tackle percentage, started counter-attacking efficiently and turned the score to 11-10. The match was balanced until the end, and Sao Paulo women confirmed the victory, finishing the set 25-22.
North American winger Kayte was the game’s top scorer with 18 points and won the VivaVôlei Cup. The highlight of Marenga was Gabi Candido, with 17 hits.
Osasco will play again next Monday (11/17), against Paulistano Barore, in a rematch of this year’s Paulista semifinal, which ended with Barore’s team advancing to the state final. The match will be held at the Jose Liberati Gym at 9:30 p.m. Marenga hosts Sesc RJ Flamengo on Tuesday (11/18), at the Chico Neto gym, at 9:30 p.m.
