Federal Deputy Bia Kicis (PL-DF) expressed her support for Flávio Bolsonaro as the name of the right in 2026. The parliamentarian published on social networks Jair Bolsonaro’s handwritten letter indicating that Flávio should be a candidate for President of the Republic in the next elections and declared: “We are together.”

The position of Bia Kicis, who was the re-elected federal deputy with the most votes in the Federal District in 2022, marks an obvious position.
After the announcement of the name of Flávio Bolsonaro as representative of Bolsonarism in the next elections, opinions were divided within the right and the center-right. Governors and other leaders have divided, and some parties have announced they have different plans than Bolsonaro.
The Centrão leaders even pointed out that the announcement of Flávio’s pre-candidacy, as it was made, presents strategic errors. Especially since he publicly announced his intention to run for office before discussing it with the parties that could support him.
The exposure of the letter, this Christmas Thursday (12/25), sends a message from Bolsonaro to his allies and divided political groups.
“He is the continuation of the path of prosperity that I began long before becoming president. (…) May God bless him and give him the power to lead this chain of millions of Brazilians who honor God, their homeland, their family and their freedom,” Bolsonaro’s letter said.
