The Ministry of Development has initially approved and submitted for public informationincluding for environmental purposes, the Project of Singular Interest (PSI) of the Toroverde ecotourism and adventure park in the municipalities of Cuenca, Mariana and Sotorribas. As published this Friday in the Official Journal of Castilla-La Mancha (DOCM), the PSI aims to create a ecotourism and adventure park in the natural environment of the Sierra de Bascuñana with zip line activities, cables that generate pendulum oscillations, bicycle cables and suspension bridges, hiking trails, electric bikes and other activities accompanied by establishments dedicated to hospitality, commerce and the organization of events, as well as a hotel accommodation composed of modern design cabins.
The scope of application of the PSI, approximately 1,063 hectares of land classified as reserved rustic land and non-developable rustic land with special environmental, natural, cultural, structural-forestry and infrastructure protection, is located in the southwest area of the Sierra de Bascuñana, approximately 12 kilometers northwest of the urban center of Cuencaaffecting the municipalities of Mariana, Sotorribas and the district of Tondos, in the municipality of Cuenca.
Taking into account the documentation that constitutes the PSI, the Ministry initially approved the project and submitted it for public information, which will be exposed to the public in digital format in the Board Transparency Portal of the Communities of Castilla La Mancha, in the notice board from the electronic headquarters of the Council and in the Website of the Territorial Planning and Urban Planning of the Ministry of Development.
Likewise, any interested person who wishes to consult can contact the Central Services of the Ministry of Development, in particular the General Directorate of Territorial and Urban Planning (Paseo Cristo de la Vega, s/n, in Toledo).
The documentation will be exposed to the public so that any interested person can consult it and, if necessary, make any allegations you deem appropriate.
Simultaneously with the public information process, during the same 45-day period The municipalities concerned will be informed and heard. to consult all territorial public administrations, entities or organizations, owners or managers of goods or services concerned and interested persons, indicating to them the possibility of issuing a report or making allegations, during the period indicated, in order to respect the duty of inter-administrative consultation referred to in articles 9 and 10 of the TRLOTAU.
