Marília is a civil engineer with a master’s degree in sanitation, environment and water resources and a doctorate in water resources. Previously, she served as general director of the Minas Gerais Water Management Institute, assistant secretary and inspection undersecretary of Semad.
She replaces Fernando Passalio de Avelar, who has been in office since March this year.
