A new Spanish thriller arrives on Netflix
We start the Netflix premieres with The crystal cuckooa Spanish intrigue series based on the novel by Javier Castillo starring Catalina Sopelana, Álex García, Itziar Ituño, Iván Massagué, Tomás del Estal and Alfons Nieto.
Its plot follows the story of Clara Merlo, a first-year resident doctor who suffers a massive heart attack that forces her to have a heart transplant. After saving his life, he becomes curious to know who his donor was, which leads him to become involved in an exhaustive investigation that takes him to an enigmatic small town.
However, when he arrives at the place, Clara discovers that the heart she now carries belongs to a young man involved in a tragedy that has not yet been resolved.which will mark the beginning of a series of events that will reveal a past that many believed was buried forever. Another series that deserves to be highlighted on the platform is The last samurai standingan action drama based on the manga by Shogo Imamura that has Junichi Okada leading the cast.
“Highly skilled samurai come together to take part in a dangerous battle royale. They are attracted by the offer of 100 billion yen for the grand prize. Each participant receives a wooden tag”, explains the synopsis.
Multiple premieres on HBO Max
Inside the HBO Max News we found The Marquise de Merteuilhistorical series directed by Jessica Palud starring Noée Abita, Diane Kruger, Anamaria Vartolomei, Vincent Lacoste and Lucas Bravo, among others.
Its plot revolves around Isabelle de Merteuil, a woman who loses her honor and position after being humiliated by Valmont. That’s why, Filled with rage, she embarks on a dizzying rise from the libertine underworld to the court of Louis XV.defying all morality and power.
In the film area we have it for this weekend Interstellarone of Christopher Nolan’s most acclaimed films, featuring a stellar cast led by Matthew McConaughey and Anne Hathaway.
The film’s plot takes us to a not-too-distant future, where a group of space explorers makes use of a wormhole in order to locate a new habitable planet for humanity before life on planet Earth comes to an end. Here we leave our analysis of Interstellar.
The new Batman arrives on Prime Video
We arrived at Prime Video News with Bat Familya new animated series that serves as a sequel to the film Happy Little Batman.
“Damian and Bruce Wayne, along with their family of misfits, face the challenges of everyday life while protecting the streets of Gotham.“, shares its official synopsis.
We also have on the platform Malicean interesting thriller directed by Mike Barker and Leonora Lonsdale that features, among others, Jack Whitehall, David Duchovny, Carice van Houten, Christine Adams and Raza Jaffrey.
Its plot revolves around Adam, a charismatic tutor who quickly gains the trust of the wealthy Tanner family while they are on vacation in Greece.
But when the family’s nanny becomes seriously ill, Adam enters his London home and his true vengeful nature soon begins to surface..
As for films, we highlight this weekend on Prime Video Nativity Scenea courtroom drama based on true events directed by and starring Dolores Fonzi.
The film addresses the real story that happened in Tuculmán, Argentina, in 2014, when a young woman was admitted to a hospital with severe abdominal pain without knowing she was pregnant.
When she wakes up, the girl discovers that she is handcuffed to the stretcher and surrounded by police, being accused of causing an abortion. After two years in pre-trial detention, she is sentenced to eight years in prison for aggravated homicide by the bond.
A lawyer from Tucumán will fight for her freedom alongside the support of thousands of women and organizations, who will come together to change the course of history.
The sequel to one of its most legendary comedies arrives on Disney+
This week we found Disney+ premieres Put yourself in my shoes againsequel to the legendary 2003 comedy which, in turn, is a remake of the 1976 film crazy friday.
Again starring Jamie Lee Curtis and Lindsay Lohan, the film takes place years after the crazy identity crisis that Tess and Anna suffered when they switched bodies as a result of a spell.
However, the nightmare comes back to them when they discover that the spell can hit twice. But this time their bodies will not be switched again, but it will be Anna’s teenage daughter and her future stepdaughter who will end up taking Tess and Anna’s place, and vice versa..
