The new Toyota Yaris Cross 2026 was officially presented in November in Brazil. Main launch of the Japanese brand on the Brazilian market in 2025, it is still in the pre-sale phase. With deliveries starting in February 2026, the new Toyota Yaris Cross debuts with a starting price of R$161,390 in the XRE version and reaches R$189,990 in the top-of-the-range XRX Hybrid.

Motorization

The XRE and XRX versions of the Toyota Yaris Cross are equipped with a 1.5 flex engine with 122 hp and 150 Nm, always with a CVT automatic transmission with paddle shifters. The XRE Hybrid and XRX Hybrid versions feature a full hybrid package consisting of a 1.5 flex engine + 2 electric motors (HEV) with a combined power of 111 hp. The transmission is automatic, Hybrid Transaxle CVT.

Consumption

For the consumption data of the Toyota Yaris Cross, we used as a reference the data published by the Brazilian Vehicle Labeling Program (PBEV) of Inmetro.

Equipment

All versions of the Yaris Cross are equipped with six airbags (two front, two side and two curtain), an electronic parking brake with Hold function, an ISOFIX system for securing child seats, ABS brakes with electronic brake distribution (EBD), stability control (VSC), traction control (TRC) and hill start assist (HAC).

All versions of the new Yaris Cross come standard with the Toyota Safety Sense (TSS) active safety package, which includes Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC), Lane Departure Warning (LKA) with Lane Keeping Assist (LKC), Forward Pre-Collision System (PCS) and Automatic High Beam Headlights (AHB).
