A few months before being shot dead in front of her door, Evanisse Lopes da Silva (featured photo), 41 years old, was threatened with death by someone she didn’t like. Known as “Ruiva da Feira”, the woman was killed this Thursday (25/12) Christmas, in Novo Gama, surroundings of DF.
In January of this year, a man was at a fair in Pedregal when he began intimidating Evanisse, who owned a bar there.
When asked what he wanted, the defendant lifted his shirt and displayed a .380 caliber pistol, loaded with 19 projectiles and ready for use.
Frightened, the victim called a Military Police vehicle that was passing by. Upon noticing the officers approaching, the man attempted to get rid of the weapon, throwing it under a table where customers were eating lunch.
According to court testimony, the accused ignored the police officers’ commands and attempted to flee. When he was surrounded, he physically resisted the use of handcuffs and engaged in a physical fight with the soldiers.
Additionally, as the accused attempted to break away from the military police, he looked at Evanisse and stated that he was going to kill her.
Finally, after having subdued the accused, the soldiers recovered the firearm which had been thrown on the ground, which made it possible to verify that the weapon contained a projectile in the chamber, that is to say ready for use.

As a result, the man was arrested red-handed and taken to the police station for legal action.
The Goiás Court sentenced the accused to a total sentence of more than three years in semi-open prison, in May this year, for illegal possession of a weapon, threats, assault and resistance.
The report, however, could not confirm whether the man was one of the suspects in Evanisse’s murder.
Execution at the door
Security camera footage from the home where Evanisse lived recorded the moment a couple arrived at the victim’s home to execute him.

In the video above, you can see the suspects arrive in front of the house and shoot Evanisse. She was hit by three gunshots.
One of them came smiling with a can of beer while shooting the victim (left, featured image).
Upon seeing the two men, Evanisse attempted to run into the house, but ended up being chased and killed while still in the garage.
The two men fled on foot shortly after his execution. The man who was drinking doesn’t let go of the can and continues to smile as he runs away.
Three other people were also outside the house when the shooting began. They all ran away. Evanisse’s death was noted at the crime scene by the Mobile Emergency Care Service (Samu).
Military police vehicles patrolled the area, but the suspects were not located. The case is being investigated by the Goiás State Civil Police (PCGO), who are still looking for the two men.
